Hi! I'm Carly Melvin, also known as, Goosegirl Draws. I am a character and comic illustrator based in Virginia who loves to draw and write paranormal romance and fantasy, usually with a small-town setting.

I have been drawing characters and dreaming up stories my entire life, which led to me creating and posting my original cowboy vampire characters, Dot Buchanan and Jesse Delgado, who you see all over this site and will be apart of a romance comic I am working on (currently unpublished).

When I'm not engrossed in my cowpoke universe, I am enjoying storytelling with my friends & family, freaking out over a new audiobook, or trying to make it out to my local barn for a ride.
